Evans Sunrise Medical Centre is a privately owned 75-bed hospital that is located in Nakuru and commenced operations in 1998. It was a realization of the vision by its founders of providing the community it serves with quality, affordable healthcare within a caring and attractive environment.The hospital has experienced tremendous growth since its inception, with the individual departments continually enhancing their capacity with regard to human resources, equipment and physical infrastructure.
As part of ESMC’s strategy to increase its regional market presence, an outpatient clinic was opened in June 2008.

ESMC’s continuing medical education department, in collaboration with local and international training institutions and professional organizations ensures its staff are kept abreast of developments in medical and other relevant fields.
Its functions are:
- Acquisition of materials for the Medical Library
- First Aid, CPR, BLS and ACLS training
- Continuing professional development for medical staff
ESMC also conducts various community health programs, with emphasis on:
- Preventive aspects
- Lay person First Aid and CPR training
- Community Oral Health preventive programs
- Mobile clinics Home based car
